Political Parties in Oregon

Major political parties in Oregon include the Independent, Democratic and Republican parties. Statewide minor political parties include the Constitution, Libertarian, No Labels, Oregon Progressive, Pacific Green, and Working Families parties. Secretary of State Jeanne P. Atkins announced that the Independent Party of Oregon had 109,363 registered voters as of August 2015, equaling to more than 5 percent of the state’s registered voters. and in the next election the independent party did reach the minimum to be a major party.
